Network Marketing is also known as MLM which stands for Multilevel Marketing. No matter what name it goes by, it is all the same. It is a home based business that involves building relationships, selling products and recruiting others to do the same… or is it?

The days of working for a company for financial security are long gone. It is up to you to provide for your own financial security, do not depend on a job or the government to provide it for you.

This industry dates back to the late 1940’s with the California Vitamin Company. Late in the 1950’s and early 1960’s is when this home–based industry really started to take form, when companies like Amway and Shaklee entered this home based business segment.

In fact finding a company with stability is a key to your home business success. There are currently somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500 Network Marketing companies operating today. As you can see there are plenty of companies from which to choose, so choose wisely.

A MLM company should not require you to invest large amounts on money into stockpiling inventory. If it does, you should “proceed with extreme caution.”

If it were me, I’d find another company to work with and as mentioned above there are plenty of them out there.

Many of these companies try to lure you in with the promises of six figure incomes, when in reality that’s not the case.

We are not saying you cannot earn a decent income it’s just not as easy as they make it sound, if it was everyone would be doing it.
